New Brunswick History
The first people to live in New Brunswick is the Mi'kmaq and Maliseet-Passamaquoddy. Saint John was here in 1783,and is the oldest city in Canada.Saint John started as a shipbuilding town. New Brunswick became a province of Canada in1867.
